The infographic shows a possible installation of ServersCheck® cylindrical daisy chain sensors in the cold and hot aisles of a data center white space. Our Solutions team can help you customise the configuration to your environment based on ASHRAE and other local code requirements. Ask your question
This configuration can be complemented with our white space room environment monitoring sensors to further increase safety and ASHRAE compliance.
Two sensors, one chain
across the aisle or on the rack
one base unit, one IP address
one base unit, one IP address
Both sensor types are designed to proactively detect temperature and humidity anomalies that can affect critical IT equipment.
Across the aisle
Our DAISY-THUM-C cylindrical sensors can be suspended from the ceiling or cable trays at any height using the included 2.8m cable to cover entire aisles.
On the rack
Alternatively, our DAISY-THUM sensors are designed for direct installation on server racks.
One chain
Up to 40 sensors on one BASE-5 through a single DAISY-STARTER. A BASE-PWR adaptor powers chains of more than 10 sensors; a DAISY-BOOSTER extends chains beyond 100m/330ft.
Calibrated
Our daisy chain temperature and humidity sensors are factory calibrated to ensure accuracy out of the box. For applications requiring certified traceability and strict compliance, we offer ISO 17025 calibration certificates for temperature and NIST calibration certificates for humidity.
