When dust accumulates into equipment, power usage increases due to the harder working fans and CPU's running at higher temperatures. The Dust Sensor monitors dust particles in the air.
Dust Sensor
The quality of power is one of the main reasons causing equipment to fail, data to be lost or shortening life span of electronics. All impacting business operations. This sensor is able to detect up to 85% of all power quality issues. Plug & Play. No electrical work needed.
Power Quality Sensor
The dry contact input units enable you to hook up legacy equipment like generators, analog systems or other dry contact systems.
IO Dry Contact Sensor
The ambient temperature measurement checks if your cooling is still operating and if the room has the desired temperature setting. Combined with the humidity sensors, it ensures that your equipment is running within limits.
Temperature & Humidity Sensors
The airflow sensor monitors the operation of your air ventilation of your Edge facility: for the operation of the intake and outtake vents.
Airflow Sensor
The battery monitoring system monitors the temperature, resistance and voltage of your cells. The string is monitored for its current and impedance.
Battery Monitoring Sensor
Water is the enemy of electricity. Inside remote offices or IDF rooms, water leak came come from multiple sources. The primary source is a leaking cooling unit. Then you have water leaks from tenants or rooms above your IDF room, street flooding, pipe bursts and many more. The leak sensor by ServersCheck is a 6m water leak sensitive cable so that it can detect water intrusion anywhere in the IDF or office room.
Water Sensing Sensor & Cable
Thermal runaways of equipment will go undetected with traditional temperature sensors as air conditioning units will try to compensate the heat problem. The thermal camera sensor looks at the equipment and monitors its surface temperature in 4800 points, every 2 seconds.
Thermal Camera Sensor
Dust accumulation in equipment will affect the reliability of systems. At first power usage will increase due to the harder working fans and CPU. Electrical issues may occur due to shortage caused by particles.
Particle Matter Sensor
Power failure is a common reason why edge facilities go offline. Too often the PDU's do not have the built-in alerting capabilities like with LTE or Satellite connectivity. This sensor ensures that you know when there is an AC power failure so that you can take action before it's too late.
Power Failure Sensor
Li-ion fires are preceded by gas venting of battery cells. Typically this stage gives a few minutes warning before batteries produce smoke and the fire starts. The gas being monitored for Li-ion is CO2.
CO2, VOC & Temperature Sensor
Corrosive gasses may be present in the outdoor air. Through ventilation they may get into your facility. H2S & SO2 gasses are known to corrode electrical and electronic equipment resulting in an environmental risk for your facilitiy. NOx & VOC form another danger to your facility.
Corrosive Gas Sensing
Refrigerants are often used in Edge facilities. Using our R-gas sensor, leaks can be detected to mitigate the risk from a failing refrigeration and cooling system.
Refrigerant Gas Sensors
ASHRAE recommends 6 temperature sensors per rack. Others like Gartner recommend a minimum of 3 temperature sensors per rack: 2 on the intake side (top & bottom) and 1 one at the top back (outtake).
The daisy chain temperature (humidity) sensors are designed to solve the limitations of standalone sensors
Daisy Chain Temperature Sensor
This sensors checks non stop the grounding's resistance. This allows you to get early warning on your grounding system.
The sensor detects following:
- accidental disconnected grounding systems
- corrosion of copper ground bars due to environmental conditions
- copper ground theft
