SEC-LUXDigital Light (Lux) Sensor
whoever enters needs light
for edge site security
Reports luminosity in lux, from 0 to 65,000 lux.
1 lux resolution — even a small light registers.
More secure than a door contact for remote sites.
Covers every entry point — any door, hatch or panel.
Steel industrial enclosure — 0U rack, DIN rail or wall mount.
Optional RS-485 sensor version available.
BMS ready via Modbus TCP, BACnet IP & Modbus RTU.
SNMP for NMS/DCIM & MQTT for IIoT.

At a glance:
Range: 0 to 65,000 lux
Resolution: 1 lux
Principle: whoever enters needs light
More Secure Than a Door Contact
Door contacts are magnet based and can be fooled with a strong magnet. Light can't be faked away — whoever enters needs it to work.
How It Works
A dark shelter sits near 0 lux. The sensor measures 0 to 65,000 lux at 1 lux resolution — a torch, a headlamp or the room light all break the baseline.
Where to Install
Remote shelters, MDF/IDF rooms and unmanned edge cabinets — positioned to see the room, not a window.
Alerting & Integration
Live lux readings with immediate alerts via email, SNMP traps & optional SMS — straight into your BMS over Modbus TCP, BACnet IP or Modbus RTU.
